The Book

Ta daaaaa! We wrote a book!

It’s called Pedagodzilla: Exploring the Realm of Pedagogy. It’s a playful exploration of the big pedagogic paradigms, through the lens of daft pop culture questions and tiny atomic monsters.

We’ve released it both as an OER (Open Educational Resource) under the Creative Commons 4.0 Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives license and as a paperback. This means you can use it in your own teaching and practice and share it, just make sure to name drop us in the process (and let us know, we’d love to know how folk are using it!).

If, like us, you like to have a tactile paper version to hold, cherish, nibble and get you away from that damned computer screen then you can pick up a paperback copy via Amazon. All royalties go towards covering the podcast and book production costs, so picking up a copy helps us out a lot!

We think it’s come out really well, but don’t take our word for it:

Prof Nic Whitton, Professor of Digital Learning and Play, Northumbria University
Daisy Abbott, Research Developer, Glasgow School of Art

We’ve made the individual chapters available as OER downloads for your reading and referencing pleasure! If you find them useful in your practice, drop us a note to let us know!
