In this episode Mike is joined by Jo Dyer, Director of Learner and Discovery Services at The Open University as we talk about cakes, bakes and how the OU makes (distance learning).
Mike’s been working at the OU (The Open University) for over a decade, and has been running this podcast for at least half that time, and surprisingly at no point have we actually lifted the lid on how the OU itself produces learning at scale. What better place to fix that then, than to invite Mike’s bosses’ bosses’ boss to share what she’s learned across an OU career that’s spanned faculty, production and everything between?
So join us! You’ll leave nourished in terms of knowledge and ravenous in terms of cake.
PS: The featured image for this episode is actually a cake given to Mike during a Great British Bake-off event at the OU. It was epic. Big thanks to Ben Hogan, Susan Evans, Carly Nichols-Smith and Lawrence Kizilkaya for being fab.
